Senior Software Engineer - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant

Overview

Senior Software Engineer role as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant, focused on Finance and SCM functional ownership across modules and integrations.

What you'll do

• Configure, implement, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules across Finance and SCM.
• Manage end-to-end functional setups and configurations including workflows, business rules, and cross-module integrations.
• Perform table-level and column-level data structure and relationship analysis for D365 F&O modules.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data validation, issue diagnosis, and table troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with technical teams on RICEFW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
• Support requirement gathering, solution design, testing (SIT/UAT), deployments, and production operations, with documentation and user communication.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM).
• Basic functional knowledge of Inventory Management, Material Management, Sales Order Management, and Purchase Order Management.
• Strong SQL scripting and data analysis capabilities.
• Basic understanding of multi-module process flows in D365 F&O.
• Experience participating in data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives using specified tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree (CSE, IT) or MCA with strong programming skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AI toolsets for automation and predictive analytics.
• Exposure to SAP FI/MM/SD modules and SAP Central Finance.
• Basic experience or understanding of ETL concepts including SAP BODS and SAP Datasphere.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid methodologies.
