Senior Software Engineer - NVEX

Overview

Senior system software engineer supporting NVIDIA Enterprise Experience customers and developing tools and enhancements for NVIDIA enterprise platforms, containers, deep learning frameworks, and cloud deployments.

What you'll do

• Develop features and tools for NGC, container orchestrators, GPU-accelerated applications, and deep learning frameworks.
• Improve the availability and reliability of NVIDIA servers, system software, and deep learning containers.
• Own customer issues across system software, containers, frameworks, and cloud deployments through resolution.
• Research GPU use cases involving emerging container technologies and deep learning frameworks.
• Triage and resolve customer software, hardware, and operating system issues.
• Provide engineering assistance for Sev1 outages during one weekend per month on call.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of system software development and troubleshooting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and excellent Python and scripting skills.
• Deep knowledge of Linux and comfort working with Windows operating systems.
• Deep understanding of at least two areas including data centers, servers, distributed systems, virtualization, deep learning frameworks, containers, or hybrid cloud.
• Professional communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing, triaging, and debugging Linux, containers, and deep learning frameworks.
• Experience with distributed systems, especially container orchestrators.
• System-level debugging and triage experience.

Details

• Location: Bengaluru, India.
• On-call duty: one weekend per month for Sev1 customer outages.
