Senior Software Engineer -Platform Tools

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for building backend platform tools and core data services using Python, with opportunities to integrate AI and LLM capabilities into engineering workflows.

What you'll do

• Build backend services in an agile environment using Python.
• Analyze requirements and design scalable solutions with stakeholders.
• Develop unit tests and test automation for quality releases.
• Architect secure solutions for complex business needs and external data ingestion.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization solutions.
• Apply AI for data mapping, vendor integrations, monitoring, and anomaly detection.
• Share engineering practices, techniques, and AI technologies with the team.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software development experience with server-side and core Python.
• Experience or strong interest in integrating AI and LLM capabilities into backend workflows.
• Expertise with Django REST Framework and async development using Celery.
• Proficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Docker, AWS, Airflow, Sentry, and OpenSearch.
• Proficiency in TDD, Continuous Delivery, agile methodologies, Git, and GitHub.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
