Senior Software Engineer with Accounting Experience

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and optimize high-impact systems for financial reporting, reconciliation, and automation.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to ensure data integrity and streamline financial processes.
• Build reports and automations using Python and SQL.
• Design and develop software applications and features in Golang.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to design and deliver products.
• Deliver high-quality, testable features meeting reporting and compliance standards.
• Mentor engineers and shape technical direction.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience for this senior role.
• At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go and Java.
• Ability to leverage large language model tools (Claude or equivalent) for productivity, research, and communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Demonstrated history delivering commercial APIs and web applications.
