Senior Software Engineer - Work Flows

Overview

Senior Software Engineer focused on building and running a serverless execution engine and workflows orchestration for industrial AI and automation.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate the core serverless execution engine and workflows orchestration layer.
• Own platform reliability, including uptime, latency SLOs, and incident response to prevent data loss or silent failures.
• Architect for scalability across multi-tenant and multi-cloud high-throughput workloads.
• Define and evolve API-first architecture with versioned REST and event-driven APIs.
• Implement observability using distributed tracing, structured logging, and alerting.
• Champion CI/CD and test automation across unit, integration, and smoke tests.
• Profile and resolve performance bottlenecks including execution throughput and cold-start latency.

What you'll need

• 6–8 years of engineering experience building and operating production backend services at scale.
• Deep mastery of JVM languages, with Kotlin preferred (Java acceptable).
• Experience with Python (FastAPI), distributed systems patterns, and cloud-native service design.
• Hands-on experience with workflow engines (Conductor, Apache Airflow, or equivalent) and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
• Comfort working with PostgreSQL and non-relational databases, object storage/data lakes, and Redis.
• Practical experience with Open-telemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
