Senior Solution Engineer, Financial Services

Overview

Senior Solution Engineer supporting financial services customers through complex technical sales cycles. The role partners with sales and channel teams to deliver demonstrations, proof of concepts, architecture discovery, and business closure.

What you'll do

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical audiences.
• Demonstrate Snowflake's value throughout the sales cycle.
• Support enterprise proof-of-concept engagements.
• Navigate sales cycles with sales teams and channel partners.
• Research competitive and complementary technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.

What you'll need

• 5–7+ years of industry experience.
• At least 5 years of pre-sales experience.
• At least 5 years building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud.
• Experience with large-scale databases, data warehouses, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL analytics and Python.
• Ability to connect customer business problems with technical solutions.
• Ability to discover customer architecture and connect it with data architecture.

Nice to have

• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree in data science or business administration.
• Experience with global systems integrators such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture.

• Approximately 30% travel expected.
