Senior Solutions Engineer, Strategic (West Coast)

Overview

Senior Solutions Engineer on Motive’s Strategic team, partnering with Strategic Account Executives to drive deal strategy and deliver technical, executive-ready product demonstrations.

What you'll do

• Partner with Strategic Account Executives to shape deal strategy and discovery conversations.
• Deliver high-impact demonstrations tailored to technical, operational, and business audiences.
• Translate customer challenges into solutions aimed at measurable business outcomes.
• Support strategic enterprise opportunities, including displacement and high-value opportunities.
• Collaborate on RFIs and RFPs for strategic enterprise organizations.
• Connect Sales and cross-functional teams to ensure customer insights feed improvement and innovation.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience supporting Strategic or high-value Enterprise sales in pre-sales or solutions engineering (SaaS and hardware experience a plus).
• Customer-facing pre-sales field experience with willingness to travel 30%+.
• Deep knowledge of value-based selling frameworks (e.g., MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, Command of the Message).
• Solutions engineering methodologies experience (e.g., Demo2Win, Great Demo!, or comparable).
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for influencing executive/C-level stakeholders.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and technical solution design.

• Location: United States - Remote.
• Salary range (on-target earnings): $200,000–$240,000 USD.
