Senior Staff Engineer, Selenium,Cucumber

Overview

Senior Staff Engineer for QA automation, focused on building and maintaining scalable UI/API test automation frameworks.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Java, Cucumber, and JUnit.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation components, Page Object Model structures, test utilities, and test data frameworks.
• Create and maintain Cucumber feature files, step definitions, runners, and BDD automation scenarios.
• Integrate automated test suites with GitHub Actions and maintain CI/CD workflows for continuous automated test execution.
• Perform functional, UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across application releases.
• Analyze test failures, troubleshoot automation issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.

What you'll need

• 7.5+ years of total experience.
• Strong experience as a Senior QA Automation Engineer/SDET/Automation Test Engineer in enterprise applications.
• Hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber (BDD).
• Experience developing and enhancing automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with JUnit for automated test execution, assertions, test organization, and framework integration.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline integration and automated test execution.
• Ability to build/testing around test failures and root-cause troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Experience with REST Assured or Postman (API testing tools).
• Experience with Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright MCP.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jira, and Agile/Scrum (preferred).
• Experience in Retail, E-commerce, or Product Engineering environments (preferred).
