Overview
Lead the design, development, deployment, and improvement of automated manufacturing solutions across multiple projects. Provide technical leadership for engineering, process development, validation, and manufacturing excellence activities.
What you'll do
- Lead and mentor engineers, co-ops, technicians, and operators.
- Develop and deploy automation solutions for production processes and performance monitoring.
- Support capital equipment requirements, vendor evaluation, installation, commissioning, and validation.
- Lead process validations, including VP, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
- Conduct Gauge R&R studies, capability analyses, and process characterization.
- Lead value-stream and cross-functional projects through execution, qualification, documentation, and handover.
- Create and review design, technical, and validation documentation.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
- 12–15 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience in industrial automation, process development, or advanced manufacturing.
- Ability to develop and troubleshoot mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of computer vision, Python, industrial automation, and electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Working knowledge of process validation, PFMEA, SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC.
- Knowledge of industrial controls, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, robotics, and machine vision is highly desirable.
