Senior System Software Engineer - DRIVEOS Platform Team

Overview

Senior System Software Engineer for NVIDIA’s DRIVEOS platform team, supporting development of safe, secure, high-performance automotive system software.

What you'll do

• Design and develop ISO26262- and ISO21434-compliant system software for NVIDIA DRIVE platform for autonomous vehicles.
• Perform development and bring-up for next-generation Tegra SOC hardware and systems, including network switches and MCUs.
• Design debugging solutions and tooling to improve developer experience on the DRIVE platform.
• Architect and implement solutions for complex issues and defects across a partitioned software stack.
• Use Formal Methods to design and develop high integrity software.

What you'll need

• BS/MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
• More than 8 years of experience with device driver design and development on embedded systems.
• Proven understanding of computer architecture, operating system fundamentals, and Ethernet networking.
• Strong experience understanding board schematics and debugging board design issues, including engaging with hardware vendors.
• Strong Python/C/C++ and/or Ada/SPARK programming and debugging skills.
• Experience configuring a complex virtualized system for the intended use case.
