Senior Systems Engineer, Product Definition

Overview

Senior Systems Engineer for Product Definition focused on defining system-level architecture and supporting customers with application-level design and integration of Allegro motor driver IC products.

What you'll do

• Maintain a creative product backlog and lead product planning for the motor driver product line.
• Build customer relationships and develop a product roadmap and strategic backlog.
• Draft initial product requirements by translating customer application needs into requirement/datasheet content.
• Integrate new technologies to advance performance of Allegro motor driver ICs.
• Lead feasibility studies with IC design engineers and present results to management.
• Propose test strategy and coordinate with design, test, and product validation teams for specification compliance.

What you'll need

• Requires a BSEE or MSEE or equivalent with 4+ years of experience.
• Must have understanding of analog and digital electronics.
• Must have understanding of motors, magnetics, and package thermal properties.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills for a customer-faced technical leadership role.
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink or other modeling tools is preferred.
