Senior Systems Operations Engineer

Overview

Senior Systems Operations Engineer to lead operational management of installed systems and infrastructure, improve efficiencies, and ensure high availability.

What you'll do

• Lead or participate in managing installed systems and infrastructure.
• Increase system efficiencies and reduce human intervention time.
• Review and analyze operational support systems and tools to ensure availability.
• Work with vendors and technical personnel for problem resolution.
• Lead a team to meet technical deliverables using technical process controls/standards.
• Support Workplace Technology operations with infrastructure knowledge.
• Support a 24x7 global environment through incident management practices.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of systems engineering or technology architecture experience (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, or Copilot.
• Hands-on experience with Windows endpoints and/or Windows 365 and Intune/endpoint management.
• Experience defining SLOs, SLIs, operational KPIs, and reliability measures.
• Experience with reliability & observability platforms such as Splunk, ThousandEyes, Azure Monitor, Grafana, Dynatrace, Aternity, or AppDynamics.
• Automation/cloud automation experience with PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD, REST APIs, SQL, or HTML.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
