Overview

Senior Systems Operations Engineer (L2 Support) supporting installed systems and infrastructure. The role focuses on production operations, incident/problem management, vendor coordination, and ensuring SLA/availability targets.

What you'll do

• Lead or participate in managing installed systems and infrastructure within Systems Operations.
• Review and analyze operational support systems, application software, and management tools for high availability.
• Contribute to improving system efficiencies and reducing human intervention time.
• Work with vendors and technical personnel for problem resolution.
• Lead teams to meet technical deliverables using process controls/standards.
• Oversee incident/problem management, including triage, documentation, remediation, and escalation.
• Coordinate release and BCP/DR activities and support production escalations/MIM calls.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering/Technology Architecture experience or equivalent.
• Hands-on application and production support experience (4+ years).
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux operating systems and Oracle database.
• Hands-on experience with one or more tools: Splunk, App Dynamics, Grafana, Autosys.
• Good understanding of Incident & Problem Management and ServiceNow.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• University degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Technology.
