Overview
Provide technical support, training, and customer-focused solutions for AspenTech software used in the power and utilities industry.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and engineering customer issues.
- Escalate issues and drive cross-functional resolutions.
- Deliver customer training on engineering and industrial process principles.
- Develop and maintain training materials for releases and applications.
- Build relationships by understanding customer needs and challenges.
- Support pre-release software testing as a subject matter expert.
- Conduct account health checks, onsite support, deployments, or technical projects as needed.
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of relevant or industry experience; university experience may count.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Exposure to SCADA and knowledge of ICCP, IEC104, and DNP3 protocols.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and general DBMS concepts.
- Understanding of networking, TLS 1.3, HTTPS, Windows, Red Hat Linux, firewalls, routing, and switching.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices including vulnerability assessment, mitigation, and patch management.
- Strong written and verbal communication, prioritization, and customer-focused problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Previous experience with AspenTech or another advanced software tool.
- Master's degree.
- Technical background in automation and computers.
- Knowledge of public utilities.

- Location: Bengaluru, India.
- Travel is usually less than 25% and may occasionally be international.
