Overview
As a Senior UX/UI Designer in the international Corporate Customer and User Experience Design team, you will own design problems from the first question through to the shipped solution, working within cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
- Own design workstreams end to end within cross-functional teams, collaborating with UX researchers, product managers, developers and fellow designers to drive features, products or applications from discovery through design, hand-off and launch.
- Consider complete user journeys rather than isolated screens.
- Frame the problem before solving it: work with stakeholders to identify and clarify underlying problems, challenge assumptions, define desired outcomes and bring structure to complex or ambiguous challenges.
- Translate research findings, user needs, business requirements and technical constraints into user flows, information architecture, wireframes, interaction patterns, prototypes and polished high-fidelity UI.
- Integrate feedback, research findings, analytics/data and critique throughout the design process.
- Partner with UX research and analytics to test concepts, evaluate usability and assess design effectiveness.
- Use qualitative and quantitative findings to identify opportunities, inform decisions and continuously improve the experience.
- Apply strong visual and interaction design craft across typography, hierarchy, spacing, layout, composition and color.
- Champion accessibility and inclusive design.
- Contribute reusable patterns and components to evolve the enterprise design system.
- Communicate a clear design point of view, recommend solutions and explain the rationale using user evidence, UX principles and business context.
- Align stakeholders and balance user value, business goals, technical feasibility and delivery constraints.
- Be a trusted design partner and go-to resource for fellow designers, provide constructive critique and guidance, and support less experienced colleagues.
- Help improve design practices, tools and ways of working.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of professional UX/UI or Product Design experience, with a strong track record of independently owning complex digital products or workstreams end to end.
- A strong portfolio that shows how you think as well as what you create: the problem you were solving, your role and decisions, how research or evidence informed the work, and the quality and impact of the final experience.
- Excellent UX, interaction and visual design craft: strong command of information architecture, user flows, interaction patterns, responsive/adaptive design, typography, hierarchy, layout, composition and high-fidelity UI.
- Strong systems thinking: experience working with and contributing to design systems, identifying inconsistencies, creating scalable reusable patterns and designing coherently across journeys, products and touchpoints.
- Evidence-driven and user-centred mindset: confident using research, usability testing, analytics and other evidence to challenge assumptions, evaluate solutions and make informed design decisions.
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG.
- Advanced proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Fluency in English.
- A relevant degree (Bachelor's or Master's in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Product Design, Information Design or a related discipline) is welcome, but a strong portfolio can take its place.
Nice to have
- Experience in B2B, enterprise software, industrial, semiconductor, engineering or similarly complex environments.
- Curiosity about emerging AI-enabled design workflows and the judgement to use them where they genuinely improve quality, exploration or speed.
