Senior Value Engineer - Public Sector

Overview

Senior Value Engineer for the public sector, partnering with Sales to drive AI and data-driven transformation and strong ROI using the Celonis Context Model.

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end value journey from discovery through realized ROI for process areas.
• Craft executive narratives and lead business value workshops to tell the value story.
• Build executive sponsorship and co-own change management with customer leaders.
• Steer global transformations across complex workstreams and implement AI-assisted project management.
• Use AI tools for rapid technical outputs and drive platform adoption with support from Applied Value Engineers.
• Build a strategic expansion roadmap and provide feedback to R&D based on customer use cases.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience owning complex workstreams, process areas, and customer relationships in Value Engineering, Consulting, or Pre-Sales.
• Solid background in enterprise IT and business software (e.g., SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle).
• Experience operating as an AI-fluent operator using AI copilots to generate outputs and automations (avoiding heavy manual coding).
• Proven expertise in executing process improvements.
• Demonstrated expertise orchestrating multi-region or business unit transformation programs.
• Deep understanding of financial processes in the public sector domain.
• Must possess an active Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred).
