Overview
Field Service Engineer executing low to medium complexity service work, delivering customer service, and supporting service business opportunities.
What you'll do
- Execute service work according to work instructions, ABB processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by delivering services per customer orders and expectations.
- Perform entry-level field service tasks, including diagnosing technical problems via remote or on-site activity.
- Prepare material lists and ensure required materials, parts, and equipment are available and meet appropriate quality.
- Prepare documents and customer reports for signature and use relevant tools.
- Troubleshoot simple equipment failures and recommend actions to prevent recurrence.
- Execute first-time-right work with customers and ensure completion on time and to quality standards.
What you'll need
- Minimum Diploma/BE/B-Tech qualification in Electrical Electronics.
- 5 to 8 years of experience with Low/Medium Voltage Drives and VFD drives.
- Installation and commissioning experience for VFD drives.
- Mandatory knowledge of technical support for field service activities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle customer interactions during critical hours.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
