Service Engineer

Overview

Service Engineer (field based) supporting customers with the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of water treatment and purification equipment across the South West and Midlands.

What you'll do

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing of water treatment equipment.
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs, including replacement of components and systems.
• Install, commission, calibrate, and test new equipment.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and customer call outs.
• Produce accurate service reports with recommendations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and requisition replacement components.

What you'll need

• Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in plant maintenance, fault finding, and equipment servicing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good computer literacy and report writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and stay away from home when required.

Details

• Field based covering the South West and Midlands.
• Permanent, full-time role with Monday–Friday, 40 hours.
• Travel throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays and short-term assignments.
• Participate in an out of hours on-call rota and occasional weekend working.
