Service Engineer (m/w/d)

Overview

Service Engineer for HVDC service work in Germany, responsible for planned maintenance and servicing of automation, communication, and safety systems on converter stations and offshore platforms.

What you'll do

• Carry out planned maintenance and servicing of automation, communication, and safety systems.
• Maintain and repair high- and low-voltage equipment and other HVDC platform/converter-station components.
• Perform short-term troubleshooting of the plant.
• Document maintenance activities using maintenance software.
• Supervise contracted service providers and inspect their work/services.
• Follow internal safety specifications and relevant statutory/customer safety regulations.

What you'll need

• Completed an apprenticeship as an electronics technician with specified specialization areas.
• Deepened expertise through further training as a technician or master craftsman (ideally).
• Experience mindset for on-site maintenance, commissioning, and repair with initiative and assertiveness.
• German and English command at level B1; French would be welcome.
• Willingness to travel at home and abroad for travel durations of several weeks.
• Participation in a 24/7 on-call service.
• Valid driving license class B.
