Service – Field Service Engineer – X-Ray Multi-Vendor Services – North England

Overview

Field Service Engineer for GE HealthCare Multi-Vendor X-ray services, responsible for daily service repair needs and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair OEM non-GE designated X-ray equipment.
• Interface daily with customer/department staff on equipment status and ongoing issues.
• Maintain daily customer communication for issue resolution and proper follow-up.
• Keep customer service logs and internal service records up to date.
• Maintain tools and test equipment and ensure they are calibrated.
• Identify sales opportunities and communicate them to the account team.
• Manage warranty and Planned Maintenance Service (PMS) contract cost control.

What you'll need

• Qualified to National Diploma or B-Tech Degree level or equivalent.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Solid Field Services experience in OEM-trained X-ray systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of X-ray systems and related imaging modalities.
• Proficient in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong planning, organizational, and customer-focused communication skills.
