ServiceNow Engineer

Overview

ServiceNow Engineer role supporting, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow core applications including ITSM, HRSD, and ITOM/Discovery modules.

What you'll do

• Support, develop, and maintain core ServiceNow applications like ITSM, HRSD, and ITOM/Discovery.
• Enhance platform functionality with existing processes and address operational challenges.
• Integrate ServiceNow with tools such as MS Teams and explore new modules to improve workflows and service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to apply best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Provide technical expertise and collaborate with the ServiceNow team.
• Support and develop new features and troubleshoot issues using SLAs.

What you'll need

• Have 3–5 years of experience with ServiceNow core applications (ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, Discovery & Event Management).
• Configure workflows/flow designers and develop/analyze reports.
• Develop and maintain business rules, script actions, script includes, and scripted REST endpoints.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external platforms using REST, SOAP, FTP, and other protocols.
• Use web technologies including Bootstrap, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, REST, and SOAP.
• Understand CSDM and map capabilities to CMDB tables for discovery & orchestration.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS-DF, CIS-DISCO/CIS-SM).
