Overview
Own and deliver ServiceNow platform development, operations, and technical ITSM initiatives, ensuring availability and reliability while improving ITSM, CMDB, automation, and ServiceNow AI capabilities.
What you'll do
- Lead ServiceNow Platform operations for availability, reliability, and performance of critical services.
- Handle complex platform issues, recurring incidents, and production problems using root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
- Run ATF and Redline support, including automated regression testing and release validation.
- Plan and coordinate platform releases, upgrades, patching, cloning, instance migrations, and production deployments.
- Provide technical leadership for ServiceNow development, configuration, integrations, and platform enhancements.
- Improve CMDB capabilities (data quality, CI relationships, integrations, governance, and dependencies).
What you'll need
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, administration, and platform operations.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow Platform architecture and ITSM modules.
- Advanced ServiceNow development skills including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules/Scripts, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
- Experience with platform releases, upgrades, cloning, patching, update sets, app repository, and deployment management.
- Experience with ATF, automated regression testing, release validation, and production support.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for platform and integration issues.
- Good understanding of CMDB/CSDM, CI relationships, data quality, Discovery, and integration concepts.
Nice to have
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
- Knowledge or hands-on exposure to ServiceNow AI, Now Assist, Virtual Agent, and automation capabilities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Technical leadership, stakeholder management, communication, decision-making, and mentoring.
