Overview
As a ServiceNow Software Engineer, you will lead, design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services, with specific emphasis on the ServiceNow SecOps and GRC modules. You will create automation solutions, optimize IT Service Management processes, and design, develop, and maintain Service Catalog items and workflows.
What you'll do
- Develop and customize Service Catalog items, workflows, and integrations using Generic Workflow, Flow Designer, scripting, and APIs.
- Design and implement scalable solutions focused on the ServiceNow Service Catalog module.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Enhance user experience and implement automation to optimize service delivery.
- Maintain and update Service Catalog offerings to ensure scalability and usability.
- Build and support integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems to enhance workflow automation.
- Document all configurations, workflows, and processes to ensure clear communication and future scalability.
- Present product demos and technical showcases for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Adhere to ServiceNow best practices, Takeda-defined standards, and Agile development schedules.
- Leverage Takeda’s SDLC toolset for efficient development and deployment.
- Drive innovation and optimize Service Catalog functionality to meet evolving business needs.
- Stay updated on ServiceNow advancements, incorporating new features into solutions.
- Support the entire development lifecycle and assist platform support with product-related incident resolution.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology, or relevant work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and developing ServiceNow solutions, especially Integrated Risk Management and SecOps modules.
- 2+ years of experience with the ServiceNow Service Catalog module.
- Strong understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance and Security Operations processes.
- Strong expertise with ServiceNow platform development, especially Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and scripting languages.
- Proficiency in creating server-side and client-side scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts and align the organization on decisions.
- ServiceNow System Administrator certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English, both written and oral.
Nice to have
- ServiceNow Application Developer certification.
