ServiceNow Software Engineer

Overview

Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, integrations, modules, workflows, and platform solutions while collaborating with architects, business analysts, stakeholders, and following best practices.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions using best practices.
• Customize ServiceNow applications using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow modules such as ÏTSM, CSM, APO, MCO, Finance Management, and Employee Centre.
• Build and support integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
• Create and manage workflows, FlowDesinger and ETL, Integration Hub, DataFabric/Zero Copy Connectors, and tranformation.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of platform issues.
• Support platform upgrades, patches, and releases.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Follow SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and change management processes.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and integrations, including server-side and client-side integrations.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture.
• Experience with Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash lifecycle, Accounts payable, and Accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with CMDB and ITSM.
• Understanding of ACLs, roles, and security best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with other applications such as ITOM and HRSD.
• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), and module-specific certifications including CSM, ITSM, and MCO.
• Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
• Knowledge of UI Builder, Service Portal, and Workspace configuration.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and ATF (Automated Test Framework).
