Simulation Engineer – SIL/HIL, OpenCL/Cuda

Overview

Simulation Engineer (SIL) to develop and execute virtual validation environments for embedded software, supporting early-stage verification.

What you'll do

• Develop simulation models and environments for automotive ECUs using embedded systems expertise.
• Optimize simulation performance and accuracy considering microcontroller memory, processing, and real-time constraints.
• Build and maintain simulation models for MCU platforms including Renesas, Aurix, and S32.
• Use virtualization, emulation, and trace analysis to identify and fix simulation issues.
• Develop simulation software using C and C++.
• Create and maintain simulation tools aligned with automotive development processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align simulation with timelines, requirements, and quality standards.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of experience.
• Knowledge of radar signal processing and object tracking.
• Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
• Understanding of embedded systems and AUTOSAR basics.
• Hands-on experience with CAN/Ethernet communication protocols and CANoe.
• Experience with JIRA and Git/Gerrit.
