Site Reliability Engineer, Associate

Overview

The Associate Site Reliability Engineer will drive reliability across the application lifecycle, including monitoring, incident root-cause analysis, and capacity/demand forecasting engineering.

What you'll do

• Own project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using Agile methodologies.
• Understand and refine business and functional requirements.
• Partner on architectural and design decisions and brainstorm solutions for team productivity and efficiency.
• Design and implement end-to-end monitoring solutions using SLO-based telemetry tools for applications and infrastructure.
• Engineer capacity management and demand forecasting solutions.
• Lead root cause investigations for production incidents with a focus on issue avoidance.
• Create or coordinate retros for significant incidents.
• Add custom telemetry metrics to in-scope applications.

What you'll need

• B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience.
• Experience troubleshooting performance issues.
• Experience with CI/CD practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good hands-on object-oriented programming experience in Java, including design patterns.
• Experience with telemetry solutions and tools like Grafana for log and performance monitoring and visualization.

• Hybrid work model with employees required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
