Software Engineer 2

Overview

Software Engineer II for UiPath’s Vertical Solutions team, building an AI agentic orchestration platform and related orchestration infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack features for Vertical Solutions products.
• Write production-quality code daily using AI coding assistants.
• Prototype ideas with real customers and ship validated concepts to production.
• Design evaluations and measure quality using real customer data.
• Translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to scalable, reliable distributed systems for enterprise use.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of software engineering experience focused on distributed systems and backend architecture.
• Strong full-stack knowledge across frontend systems (e.g., React) and backend systems.
• Proficiency in one or more system-level languages (e.g., JavaScript / C# / Java).
• Experience building production AI systems (LLMs, tool-calling, multi-agent architectures, orchestration, and evaluation).
• Distributed systems experience including idempotency, replay ability, state management, and long-running jobs.
• Ability to use cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
