Software Engineer 2 - Product Essentials

Overview

Build and operate scalable backend platforms, APIs, and cloud systems supporting AI-powered cybersecurity products and high-volume security events.

What you'll do

• Use Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, and other AI tools to improve development workflows.
• Build consumer-grade interfaces and APIs for behavioral AI insights.
• Design and deploy secure systems that detect and prevent cyberattacks.
• Collaborate with customers and security teams to iterate on solutions.
• Design backend services and cloud architectures for billions of security events.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Backend development experience with Python, TypeScript, or Go.
• Strong computer science, data structures, and performance optimization fundamentals.
• Production experience building or operating gRPC or REST APIs.
• Ability to debug distributed systems failures, including retries, timeouts, and race conditions.
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure and Docker or Kubernetes.
