Android Software Engineer (L4) for Streaming & Discovery Experiences at Netflix, focused on building Android foundational infrastructure and client app experiences.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and ship Android features and infrastructure used directly by members or built on by other engineers.
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code supported by automated tests.
• Partner with product and design teams to scope work and weigh trade-offs.
• Stay current with modern Android tooling and practices to help modernize the codebase.
• Use GenAI tools as part of day-to-day workflow.
• Communicate proactively with team and stakeholders, including project management and estimation.

What you'll need

• Solid understanding of Android development and ability to learn new frameworks and paradigms quickly.
• Strong coding skills in Kotlin.
• Comfort navigating adjacent stacks such as GraphQL.
• A track record of shipping real features.
• Ability to weigh trade-offs and make decisions with incomplete information.
• Clear communication and curiosity across teams.
