Overview
Technical Product Manager driving discovery, development, and delivery of Platform & Modernization/Enablement for the product team.
What you'll do
- Conduct user, customer, and market research to inform product strategy and roadmaps.
- Evaluate and prioritize modernization opportunities by customer value, business impact, and engineering capacity.
- Lead discovery, planning, and delivery for complex technical initiatives including integrations and cloud-native apps.
- Own and refine the product backlog in JIRA and Confluence with user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
- Run Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to support predictable delivery.
- Coordinate QA/UAT planning and support testing for production readiness of new features and platform enhancements.
What you'll need
- 6+ years in product management or a technical role with hands-on involvement in software development lifecycles and system integrations.
- Demonstrated Agile mindset and hands-on expertise with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery.
- Experience with microservices (decomposing monoliths and managing service-to-service communication).
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks, specifically React, for large-scale migration or adoption.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and continuous integration/deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Circle CI, GitLab).
- Ability to design, version, and maintain robust APIs (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC).
Details
- Employment: Full-Time (Exempt); schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with time zone flexibility.
- Work mode: Remote with travel to Melville, NY headquarters three times per year for internal meetings and team building.
