Software Engineer - Customer Service Platform

Overview

Software Engineer to build and deliver next-gen consumer-facing help center experiences in Netflix’s Customer Service Platform.

What you'll do

• Ideate, build, test, and deploy robust features for help center use cases.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, product stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Work on platform-layer systems designed to handle massive end-user traffic and integrate vendor solutions.
• Support production services through participation in an on-call rotation.
• Develop features that meet technical and business objectives.
• Enable rapid iterations for how Netflix does customer service, including GenAI adoptions.

What you'll need

• Solid experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Solid experience with React or another modern UI framework.
• Experience with AB test experiments and events instrumentation.
• Experience with API technologies including GraphQL, gRPC, and REST.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services.
• Solid knowledge of data structures, database schema design, and modern design patterns.
