Software Engineer, Credit Cycle

Overview

Software Engineer for the Credit Cycle team, developing and maintaining secure, scalable systems for credit card statements, invoice data, and cycle events in a cloud-native environment.

What you'll do

• Write, modify, and review code across front-end, back-end, and data layers.
• Integrate systems through APIs, messaging queues, and databases.
• Develop automated unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end tests.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deploy containerized applications.
• Monitor production applications and investigate incidents and root causes.
• Optimize systems for performance, cost efficiency, security, and maintainability.
• Maintain documentation for regulatory audits.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of work experience, or a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree.
• At least 3 years of experience with Java and/or Golang.
• Experience with the financial industry or payments.
• Proficiency with AWS and scalable microservices design.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases and data modeling.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Argo, Jenkins, Codefresh, or correlated CI/CD tools.
• English proficiency at B1 level or above.

Nice to have

• Experience working with critical systems.
• Understanding of observability practices including monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
