Overview
Software Engineer on Coinbase’s EAA Compliance CXAE team within the Platform group, building AI-first platforms for CX compliance agent workflows.
What you'll do
- Build end-to-end user-facing features using Golang, React, and cloud technologies for CX compliance agent platforms.
- Lead assessment, selection, and implementation of third-party tools and vendor integrations.
- Drive cross-functional outcomes on complex problems with product, design, security, data, and engineering teams.
- Own technical architecture decisions.
- Implement scalable, high-traffic services across event-driven and distributed systems.
- Mentor engineers on design techniques, coding standards, testing practices, and deployment processes.
What you'll need
- 4+ years of production software engineering experience building large-scale systems with Golang, React, and cloud technologies.
- Experience integrating third-party vendor APIs and SaaS platforms into production systems.
- Proficiency with distributed systems patterns (rate limiters, caching, load balancing, circuit breakers, event-driven architectures like Kafka and message queues).
- Hands-on observability and reliability tooling experience (metrics, logging, tracing, debugging in production).
- Working knowledge of gRPC, GraphQL, SQL or NoSQL databases, and ETL pipelines.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight and apply human-in-the-loop practices.

- Location: Remote - Brazil.
- Annual base salary range: R$341,240 to R$359,200 (BRL).
