Software engineer

Overview

Software engineer role focused on CDP ETL and database solutions, including designing scalable architectures, building data pipelines, and supporting client onboarding.

What you'll do

• Architect, design, and implement sustainable, scalable solutions.
• Build ETL pipelines to feed downstream data processes.
• Analyze data and interpret business requirements to establish relationships between datasets.
• Onboard new clients onto the ZMP/CDP+ platform, validating ETL files and performing aggregations and data syndication.
• Analyze change requests, implement and test changes in a development environment, and ensure no negative downstream impact.
• Follow change data management procedures including CAB participation and peer code reviews before production.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and look for process streamlining for repeatable delivery.

What you'll need

• 4+ years' experience.
• Relational data modeling and ETL/FTP concepts.
• Advanced analytics using SQL functions.
• Cloud technologies: AWS and Snowflake.
• Hands-on database experience with Snowflake; MySQL/PostgreSQL are nice to have.
• Ability to work independently and contribute in a team setting.
• Familiarity with Jira and Scrum framework concepts (backlog, planning, sprints, story points, retrospectives).
