Overview
Work as a mid-level, versatile Software Engineer across front-end and back-end systems. Contribute to security safeguard capabilities, GraphQL interfaces, front-end systems, internal tools and/or a customer-facing portal.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain features across front-end and back-end systems, depending on current team priorities.
- Develop and maintain front-end functionality for internal tools and the customer-facing portal, primarily addressing bugs and enhancements, with the opportunity to contribute to a future portal redesign.
- Build and support GraphQL interfaces and other API/interface layers used across the platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects across the stack, working with teammates to identify root causes.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of security safeguard capabilities across cloud environments.
- Support and troubleshoot services running in cloud environments, including containerized workloads.
- Follow established data-handling standards when working with sensitive data.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore team members across time zones, including regular participation in team standups.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5+ years of professional software development experience across front-end and back-end work.
- Working proficiency with at least one modern front-end framework and one back-end language/framework.
- Experience with at least one major public cloud platform — AWS, Azure, etc.
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: data structures, APIs, testing, and version control.
- Ability to work independently on assigned features while collaborating well with a distributed team.
- Comfort incorporating AI-assisted coding tools into daily development work.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills for cross-team, cross-timezone collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with GraphQL or other modern API/interface technologies.
- Experience building security or compliance-related features in a cloud environment.
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP).
- Experience contributing to a customer-facing product or portal.
- Familiarity with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Experience setting up or working with agentic AI coding pipelines.
Details
