Software Engineer II – SAP Billing & Pricing, ITC

Overview

SAP Billing & Pricing role within Finance Technology at Nike's India Technology Center in Bangalore, supporting global Order-to-Cash and Finance functions across S/4HANA and AFS environments.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and implement SAP Billing and Pricing solutions supporting global O2C operations
• Translate business requirements into clear functional designs and implementation plans, ensuring alignment with standard SAP capabilities
• Identify gaps in standard SAP processes and design scalable solutions, exploring all possible out-of-the-box options before customisation
• Develop Functional Design documents (FDs) and drive configuration and build, testing and validation, and deployment and user sign-off
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement enhancements, interfaces, and output solutions
• Provide production support, including root cause analysis, incident resolution, and support for time-sensitive billing processes
• Participate in testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT, ensuring solution quality and business readiness

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in SAP Billing and Pricing, including AFS and S/4HANA
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes, with deep expertise in Billing and Pricing
• Integration with Accounting (FI) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Output design and framework
• Complex pricing setup
• G/L determination
• Integrating invoices with EDI patterns
• Exposure to integration with Tax, E-invoicing, external tax engines
• Proven experience in identifying system gaps and designing effective solutions
• Proven experience in evaluating out-of-the-box vs custom solutions
• Proven experience in writing Functional Design (FD) documents
• Proven experience in driving design through build, testing, and user sign-off
• Strong experience engaging business stakeholders for requirement gathering and validation
• Strong experience analysing and resolving production issues
• Strong experience supporting critical business operations with timely solutions
• Strong communication skills with ability to work across global teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, delivery-oriented environment
• Strong collaboration mindset and focus on continuous improvement
