Software Engineer III – Developer Platform & AI Enablement

Overview

Software Engineer III for Developer Platform & AI Enablement, building platform tooling, standards, and AI capabilities used by other core product engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Analyze, design, program, debug, test, and support platform capabilities end to end.
• Interact with users to define system requirements and/or needed modifications in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Author technical designs and architectural artifacts and review peer designs.
• Develop reusable GitHub Actions/composite actions and terraform (or other IaC) modules used across the organization.
• Build and operate MCP servers, including tool schema design, transport selection, and authentication.
• Extend internal agent platform SDK/APIs and contribute to local model routing.

What you'll need

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science.
• 3-5 years of software development experience.
• Experience building internal tooling for other engineers and explaining adoption outcomes.
• Daily use of agentic coding tools (Claude Code preferred, or Copilot/Cursor/similar).
• Direct experience authoring reusable GitHub Actions (workflows/composite actions) or equivalent CI.
• Direct experience authoring Infrastructure as code.
• Technical writing others use (design docs, ADRs, runbooks, or documentation).

• Location: Office Location or Remote - USA.
• Salary range: $102,000 - $136,000.
• Work involves co-facilitating recorded remote sessions and facilitating live sessions that are remote and in person.
