Software Engineer (Java & AWS)

Overview

Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and operating scalable cloud-native services using Java and AWS within a distributed platform environment.

What you'll do

• Design and develop services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build service communication with gRPC and RESTful APIs.
• Develop microservices and event-driven systems.
• Build cloud infrastructure with AWS and Terraform.
• Test, monitor, troubleshoot, and support production services.
• Improve CI/CD workflows and engineering processes.
• Use AI-assisted tools for code generation, testing, debugging, and reviews.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java skills, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices, gRPC, RESTful APIs, and Protocol Buffers.
• Experience with AWS services including SQS, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and Lambda, or comparable services.
• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Guice, Apache Flink, or stream-processing technologies.
• Experience operating large-scale SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with observability, performance testing, shell scripting, and secure cloud development.
