Overview

Software Engineer role focused on Networking & Security Protocols, including AI/agentic test workflow development, system/product security testing, automation, and validation for next-generation firewall technologies.

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise next-generation firewalls and cloud-native security services.
• Provide escalation support and perform deep packet analysis and root cause analysis (RCA) during test executions.
• Develop automation and framework components using Python, REST APIs, or configuration automation tools.
• Partner with engineering teams to file critical software bugs and scope future product feature requests.
• Build or support AI/LLM-based workflows for test generation and failure triage as part of test workflow development.

What you'll need

• 8 to 10 years experience is stated for the role.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (GPT, Claude) for test automation.
• Familiarity with Python-based AI libraries and REST API integrations.
• Deep mastery of TCP/IP and networking/security protocols including BGP, OSPF, IPSec, SSL-VPN, NAT, and DNS/DHCP.
• Practical knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP plus containerization/hypervisors (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware ESXi).
• Experience using Host (Linux/Windows) tools and traffic generators to replicate production environments and validate firewall capabilities.
