Software Engineer, Platform - Stuttgart, Germany

Overview

Software Engineer for the Platform team, focused on designing, developing, and maintaining backend APIs and backend services.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including a public TTS API and internal APIs (Payment, Subscription, Auth, Consumption Tracking).
• Oversee the backend API landscape to enhance and optimize performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise customization and integration needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.

What you'll need

• Proven backend development experience using TypeScript/Node (required).
• Direct experience with GCP (required).
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
• Ability to ideate and implement efficiently while prioritizing tasks by urgency and impact.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Proficiency deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
