Software Engineer- SDK

Overview

Software Engineer role for Cisco Silicon One SDK, developing core C++ software technologies spanning API, algorithms, and firmware for next-generation infrastructure and network devices.

What you'll do

• Develop core software technologies for infrastructure solutions.
• Work across user-facing APIs, high-level algorithms, and firmware.
• Craft and develop software for complex infrastructure at scale.
• Collaborate with architecture and design teams to define next-generation ASIC products.
• Contribute to the full software stack enabling Silicon One ASICs.
• Drive software development for next-generation network devices.

What you'll need

• Have a B.E or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Demonstrate a strong background in C++.
• Have 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Have 4+ years of experience in C++ or Embedded Development.
• Be familiar with networking technologies and concepts.
• Have excellent communication and strategic planning skills with a focus on execution.

Nice to have

• Experience in Python.
• Ability to quickly ramp on multiple interdisciplinary domains.
• Preference for solving complex problems.
