Software Engineering Senior Manager

Overview

Wells Fargo is hiring a Software Engineering Senior Manager to lead engineering teams and engineering managers while ensuring delivery for moderate-complexity, moderate-to-high-risk workstreams.

What you'll do

• Manage, coach, and develop engineering teams of experienced engineers and engineering managers.
• Ensure adherence to Banking Platform Architecture and non-functional requirements each release.
• Partner with architects and engineers to incorporate technology strategies and enable application migration paths.
• Act as a technical representative for the product in cross-team planning and collaboration.
• Recommend and support escalated resolution of technology roadblocks across code, build, and deployment.
• Guide security, stability, and scalability with moderate complexity, including technology and enterprise risk mitigation.
• Partner with product managers/product owners to influence technology requirements and product roadmap priorities.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent via work experience, training, military experience, or education).
• 3+ years of management or leadership experience.
