Software Solutions Engineer

Overview

Software Solutions Engineer supporting NVIDIA AI Enterprise customers across cloud and datacenter environments, with responsibilities spanning customer issue resolution and building supportability features and tooling.

What you'll do

• Support, triage, and resolve complex customer software issues end-to-end.
• Develop product-facing features and deployment assets (scripts, guidance, Kubernetes manifests/Helm charts, reproducible test cases).
• Build and maintain Python-based tooling/automation (validators, log collectors, repro harnesses).
• Contribute code-level fixes/patches/pull requests with engineering for customer-impacting issues.
• Support enterprise customer deployments across datacenter and CSP environments, including Kubernetes/containerized production platforms.
• Own issues from inception to resolution by reproducing, collecting diagnostics, providing mitigations, and partnering on fixes.
• Create bug reports/RFEs with repro steps, environment details, impact analysis, and supporting artifacts.

What you'll need

• BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5+ years system software development and troubleshooting experience.
• Python required; Bash and Go/C++ are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting fundamentals across networking, concurrency, and OS concepts.
• Deep understanding of at least two areas: data centers/servers, distributed systems, virtualization, deep learning frameworks, containers, hybrid cloud, or CI/CD.
• Deep Linux knowledge for troubleshooting in production Linux environments; Windows working knowledge is a plus.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

• On-call: one weekend per month for Sev1 outage engineering assistance.
