Software Test Engineer I

Overview

Software Test Engineer I supports Quality Engineering in a disciplined agile environment by creating and maintaining automated tests and contributing to software quality before customer release.

What you'll do

• Support Quality Engineering teams with attention to detail in a disciplined agile environment.
• Research, analyze, and document test findings.
• Test complex API, web, and mobile applications using database back-end systems.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases and suites; review and diagnose reported bugs.
• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test suites through continuous integration.
• Plan test schedules/strategies based on project scope and delivery dates.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming and the SDLC.
• Familiarity with basic builds and deployments.
• Ability to read complex manual test cases and implement new actions, fragments, and scripts.
• Strong problem-solving skills to meet reasonable deadlines.

Details

• Location: Mumbai, India (on-site/hybrid/remote depending on location).
• Travel: 0–10% may be required.
