Solutions Engineer

Overview

Solutions Engineer (SE) who works as a technical expert during the sales process for SingleStore.

What you'll do

• Partner with Account Executives to close new business and expand existing accounts.
• Design, develop, and deploy Proofs of Concept (POCs) for prospective customers.
• Lead the technical evaluation stage of the sales cycle, including query tuning and load testing.
• Partner with internal teams to share feedback on customer needs and requests.

What you'll need

• Fluency in English and Native German.
• Experience selling enterprise technologies, preferably databases or distributed systems.
• Firm understanding of distributed database fundamentals for both analytic and transactional processing.
• Expertise executing POCs in complex environments.
• In-depth understanding of data platforms with 5 years minimum experience.
• Experience with cloud and containerized environments, including Kubernetes.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, Java, or other languages.

• Location: Germany.
• Travel within the region and internationally is required.
