Solutions Engineer - Strategic Partners

Overview

Solutions Engineer responsible for providing technical sales guidance and solutions to Cisco customers and strategic partners. The role owns technical relationships, supports account strategy, and leads complex opportunity development.

What you'll do

• Identify upselling opportunities and contribute technical insights to account plans.
• Build relationships with technical and business decision-makers.
• Translate customer business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and present solutions based on customer and partner needs.
• Demonstrate Cisco solutions and communicate real-world outcomes.
• Analyze competitors and position Cisco solutions to win business.
• Lead collaboration among sales resources, internal teams, and external partners.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, or a master's degree and 3 years of related experience.
• PhD and 0 years of related experience is also accepted.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco's portfolio in one or more specialized domains.
• Ability to identify customer pain points and tailor technical solutions.
• Knowledge of customer environments, markets, and competitor activity.
• Ability to lead technical sales processes and manage virtual sales support teams.
