Sourcing Associate

Overview

Sourcing Associate role at Wells Fargo to manage low-risk supplier/vendor relationships and support purchasing and sourcing activities.

What you'll do

• Manage and administer relationships for assigned low-risk vendors and suppliers.
• Plan and implement purchasing activities, including performance measurement, monitoring, reporting, and vendor evaluations/scorecards.
• Conduct review meetings to improve supplier performance and escalate/resolve customer service issues with vendors.
• Collaborate with sourcing consultants to improve supply chain performance, including cost savings, quality improvements, and discount programs.
• Identify improvements to tools and processes to streamline and automate supply or commodity management.
• Support contract negotiations and vendor relationships for low to medium complexity work.

What you'll need

• 6+ months of sourcing experience (or equivalent via work experience, training, military experience, or education).
• Strong experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Knowledge of contract drafting and negotiating vendor legal terms and conditions.
• Strong experience negotiating commercial terms.
• Cross-category experience is preferred.
• Ability to complete work under direction of more experienced staff.
