Overview

The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Project Manager oversees MEP systems installation coordination and delivery in construction or facility management projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget completion to required quality standards.

What you'll do

• Develop project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation for MEP systems.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation activities from design through commissioning.
• Manage project timelines and critical paths to meet milestones.
• Review and approve MEP drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure testing, balancing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Act as primary client point of contact and lead coordination meetings with project teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience managing MEP projects in commercial, industrial, or institutional settings.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting MEP drawings, specifications, and building codes.
• Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection software (Revit, Navisworks).
• Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
