Specialist - F&A - AP 4A

Overview

Specialist role in Finance and Accounting (F&A) focused on accounts payable processing, invoice verification and vendor payment cycle management.

What you'll do

• Calculate and post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data for maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes and handle all non-compliant and non-standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices, calculating and taking discounts when applicable
• Check vendor files for previous payments and assign voucher numbers; prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify and implement AP improvements
• Perform vendor reconciliation and manage the vendor payment cycle, GRIR reconciliations, vendor advances, etc.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or Master's degree in Finance
• Language: English (Required), Upper Intermediate - B2 proficiency
