Specialist - F&A - AP 4A

Overview

Accounts payable specialist role within Genpact's Finance and Accounting (F&A) AP function, handling invoice processing, vendor reconciliations and AP process improvements.

What you'll do

• Calculate and post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data to maintain accounts payable records.
• Process invoices with PO and Non-PO.
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
• Ensure quality of AP processes and handle all non-compliant and non-standard processes within the country.
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices, including calculating and taking discounts when applicable.
• Check vendor files for previous payments, assign voucher numbers, and prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement AP improvements.
• Perform vendor reconciliation and manage the vendor payment cycle, GRIR reconciliations, vendor advances, etc.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or Master's degree in Finance.
• English language proficiency at Advanced (C1) level (required).
• Required skills include Accounting, Account Maintenance, Accounts Payable Process, Cora AP, Financial Analysis Reporting, Invoice Payments, Monthly Close Process, Reconciliations, Data Analytics, Data Reporting, Data Visualization, Oracle Database, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Generative AI, Automation Technology, Change Management, Process Standardization, Query Resolution, Help Desk Support, Customer Experience (CX) and Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), among others.
